Junior Adeena Naeem is a writer at the Husky Herald. This is her first year writing for the newspaper officially, but she has been an avid reader and writer as early as 2nd grade. Currently, Adeena writes opinion pieces, science and technology articles, and current events. She enjoys reading classical science-fiction literature including but not limited to 1984 by George Orwell and The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Mead. Her favorite podcast is “What Now” by Trevor Noah since she loves learning about current events. Her goal as a journalist is to raise awareness and give a voice to those who need it.
