Sophomore Jewels Taveras is a current contributor to the Husky Herald. This is her second year writing for the newspaper to which she truly enjoys because it gives her the opportunity to be apart of a club where she gets to practice utilizing her skill and passion for journalism. Jewels has countless hobbies that she likes to partake in however, she especially loves vlogging, art, volleyball, listening to rap music, and spending time with her family and friends. Jewels plays volleyball and is in many clubs, some including yearbook, DECA, Youth to Youth, Husky Media, Friends of Rachel, Youth to Harrison, and many more. Jewels hopes her writing can express the thoughts of Harrison High School students in a light hearted and analytical manner.
